Rpgio The new rock band rocking malaysian industry from the hood of shah alam

Rpgio started off as a rock band whose mates included founding members, Mogan (Guitars) & Bern (Drums), Loga (Bassist) and after auditioning, Yogesh on vocals. Francis joined as a second guitarist and they were good to go as a 5 piece band. They were actively beginning to perform gigs, functions & concerts till Yogesh decided to venture deeper into his solo project.

After concluding briliant compositions, Mogan & Bern decided to add in some vocals to it & initiated the search for an ideal voice for their music. There were moments which gave them difficult choices to make. Despite this Mogan persevered and eventually met up with vocalist, Prem & after months, they agreed to be known as 'Heavy Chains'.
They got back in the underground music industry & were releasing singles until Loga made his decision to go on with his solo project and so did Prem. That was the end of Heavy Chains.
After a long year, Mogan & Bern had a jamming session with fellow musicians Matthew on vocals & Shervin on bass. After numerous jamm sessions and as time passed by, Mogan realised that the musical chemistry was bonding and provoked collaboration.
They decided to reincarnate Rpgio which was renamed Interpgio & were moving as a band for some time but later due to mutual reasons and understandings, Intermezzo was born as Matthew's solo album with the rest of them as session musicians, leaving the initial plan to rest.
After a few years, Mogan & Bern decided to go on a search for a vocalist with the help of Francis & Shervin. They started off announcing the need of a voice and began auditioning a reasonable number of vocalists after shortlisting the raw replies to their advertisement.
Finally, they came in terms with their 1st vocalist, Yogesh and that was thought to be a rebirth for Rpgio.
Within months, the band started depreciating in terms of performance and this led to a stir due to poor commitment issues. Plus, Yogesh was tied up with his career & he had to opt out of the band with a heavy heart.
Just as their music was pushed towards the edge, Mogan received a call from an associate who came to know about where Rpgio was going. Mogan was told that there was a vocalist who just came out from his musical obligations.
Knowing this, Mogan & Bern searched for more details and located the vocalist cum lyricist, Vimalan. After meeting Vimalan, Mogan & Bern immediately auditioned him & they found their new vocalist. Rpgio was back in track.Towards the end of 2009, Rpgio gathered their efforts & are now working on new English materials which are rumoured to be aired & released in 2010.

Current line up:

Francis - Rythm Guitar
